"BEFORE last night's Canadian International, Sir Michael Stoute and Ryan Moore were the only trainer and jockey involved in the race to already have won the fabled Grade 1 contest  and Hillstar added to their fine record as he put his name on a roll of honour featuring such luminaries as Secretariat, Dahlia and Stoute's own Singspiel.

“However, much of the drama took place before the start of the $1 million contest when Brown Panther, clearly edgy throughout the preliminaries, had to be withdrawn after unshipping Richard Kingscote and bolting’

“Fortunately neither horse or jockey were hurt but it was an unfortunate outcome to owner- breeder Michael Owen’s  transatlantic journey. Owen tweeted: “Long way to come for nothing! Thank goodness horse and jockey are both okay. “

“in Brown Panther’s absence, Hillstar looked a cut above his eight North American rivals and he was duly sent off 5-4f before holding the late challenge of Big Blue Kitten to become Stoute’s second winner of the race after Singspiel in 1996.

“Moore was completing back-to-back triumphs after Joshua Tree’s success 12 months ago. He produced Hillstar soon after turning for home and the pair sprinted clear to take up the running to the line. The result was in no doubt thereafter, although US-trained second favourite Big Blue Kitten closed strongly from the rear under Joel Rosario without ever looking likely to reel in the winner.

“Although Moore looked to have given Hillstar a copybook ride, yet again demonstrating his abilities on the biggest international stages, the jockey himself felt he had sent him for home a touch too soon. “I moved a bit too early but he was the best horse in the race, “ he said. “The boss had this in mind as a target from a long way out. “

“As such, Hillstar was value for more than the winning margin. Canadian-trained Dynamic Sky took third a couple of lengths further away.

“Carrying the colours of owner-breeder to four wins from 14 starts. The son of Danehill Dancer stopped the clock at 2m29.0s on ground rated ‘ good’

HANDS AND HEELS ONLY ESPECIALLY WHEN THE GROUND IS HEAVY
JMC. Government power abuse barking up the wrong tree. Where are the governments ‘ True Bloodhorse Literate Whip Rules for Horseracing? When is this sport to be run using “True Bloodhorse Literate Whip Rules” .When does the British political, legal, financial, racecourse and horseracing government intend to learn what they are doing wrong?
Our Queen Elizabeth 11 bothered to learn herself with the help of her American Horseman friend Monty Roberts. If these British government people can’t be bothered to find out what they are doing wrong. Their best option is to ban the use of the whip in the last furlong of every race.
WHERE ARE THE TRUE GLOBAL RULES OF HORSERACING?
All the while governments refuse to allow True Whip Rules of Global Horseracing. It is being very unsporting itself to all those taking part to include the horses.
