JMC: Lester will never ever be forgotten.
Lester says "I didn't know what people would think when I got out of prison . I thought that's it for me and racing. "
Lester says "I didn't know what people would think when I got out of prison . I thought that's it for me and racing. "
JMC: Lester should never have been sent to prison in the first place. Lester was a pioneer a path finder, what he has achieved throughout his life time career is massive. What he has achieved financially for government is massive. Government will for ever be in his debt. There needs to be a different procedure to stop the like of this ever happening again. Perhaps this is something needing the EU's direction. The bloodhorse illiterate EU ? Need to find a way to sort this out. If a person pursues his career through working abroad, as well as in Britain, he has of course worked to earn the money in the first place, The tax due for working in other country's and banked in other country's. Any tax due should be taken by that country, the country it has been earned in, surely? Taking into consideration that far too much tax is taken by British government from all those who work everyday to create and provide horseracing, A massive government theft, left ongoing over the last 6-7 decades, all those who government have and are ripping off financially every day.
Lester Keith Piggott (born 5 November 1935) is a retired English professional jockey, popularly known as "The Long Fellow".[2][3]With 4,493 career wins, including nine Epsom Derby victories, he is widely regarded as one of the greatest flat racing jockeys of all time.
- 1987: Lester Piggott jailed for three yearsFormer champion jockey, Lester Piggott, has been sentenced to three years imprisonment after being found guilty of an alleged tax fraud of over £3m.The 51-year-old remained stony-faced as he was sentenced by Mr Justice Farquharson at Ipswich Crown Court.
JMC:BRITISH BLOODHORSE ILLITERATE POLITICAL, LEGAL AND HORSERACING GOVERNMENT THE ROUTE CAUSE BEHIND LESTER'S IMPRISONMENT. ANCIENT BRITISH LAWS TOO FAR BEHIND THE TIMES.
