JMC: Sally Nugent talks to A P (Tony) McCoy
(On Saturday AP winning the Champion Jump Jockey Title for this National Hunt Season
2014-2015 for the 20th time in his career. 1996 -2015.
On this the second day of AP's official retirement from the saddle competing at Sandown Park on Saturday for the last time, where he partnered Mr Mole in the 3.15 Chase finishing third for Team (Paul) Nicholls (Champion Jumps Trainer Season 2014-2015 for the 9th time). And then AP partnering Box Office in the 4.25 Hurdle finishing third again for AP's Home Team (Jonjo) O'Neill.
This morning AP told Sally he didn’t do the school run this morning. Saying that they had guests yesterday for a Sunday Lunch Celebration. AP fears the change in his daily schedule from the disciplined life he has been living over the last 21 years. Including from his own fitness zone perspective always minding his weight, taking the steps needed every day to make sure he can do the weight he is required to do, each and everyday. To be able to eat properly now will be different gravy. That's what the boys call it "different gravy" .
AP said that he didn’t know what job to do now. AP has achieved True Bloodhorse Literacy in his own right at the highest level in global jump horseracing, exactly the same as Jonjo O’Neill, Richard Dunwoody, John Francome, Lester Piggott, Jamie Spencer before him, to name only 5 here. Government's over the last 6 decades have failed to realize any of the many skills needed in this sport. AP started out as a student learner he became a licensed apprentice, and a licensed conditional jump jockey, before he became a licensed jump jockey.
One immediate suggestion: AP (bloodhorse literate) to work upsides Nick Rust (Bloodhorse Illiterate) recently employed by government to hold a top post in horseracing government started on January 12, this year it is believed. Rust being bloodhorse illiterate himself will be unable to carry out any of the bloodhorse literate projects in this government zone, leaving such a post a highly dangerous government malpractice. The popular Gambling Game that horseracing provides does not own British horseracing. The present aim for British horseracing is to open it up for people to come racing in their leisure and holiday time. A family day out, for people not interested in the Gambling Game. Where families can enjoy seeing these beautiful creatures in action.
